Morrowind better than Oblivion

From what I've been reading there seems to be many skills removed such as no armour and medium amour skills. Also what about weapon skills wasn't there more in morrowind that helped level things like endurance and so on better?

Why does the lack of some skills make Morrowind better than Oblivion?

I think that maybe Morrwind had a bit more freedom than Oblivion. This could mainly be due to the console release. Having said that Morrowind came out on the xbox but it was after the PC release. Morrowind didn't have the same sort of restrictions on stats, like str and skills. This is a good and bad thing. I made a potion of int on Morrowind which made my Alchemy better so I could make a better int potion, so on and so forth. Ended up with a int in the thousands and a potion that lasted days. Made a str one while uber int and broke all my weapons in one hit Clearly abusing the sytem but then it's my choice to do so.

I miss that on Oblivion. Otherwise I like Oblivion especially now that I have my maniquines back, true 2 of them have fallen through the floor
