Morrowind; Graphical Improvement Mods?

Hey so I was reading the forums and had a feeling I would like to play Morrowind. I remember when I first bought it back at release date and it didn't run very well on my old pc, so I've never actually played Morrowind past the first startup area!

I know it's a good game -- or so I hear -- but I was wondering how exactly you can improve the graphics. Someone mentioned to me that you can make morrowind look almost as good as oblivion. I searched around but all I can find is some Morroblivion mod, but thats not really complete.

Any ideas?

Looks like I'm going to have to put in a bit of work searching and downloading mods for better graphics and widescreen :/

The main graphical enhancement for seems to be, 'Morrowind Graphics Extender (MGE)'

That is actually pretty shiny. There was a thread yesterday I think called Morblivion or something. Someone has created a mod that allows Morrowind to run on the Oblivion graphics engine. If you own both games that is.

you need both games and all expansion packs for morrowind, i'm not going to use it as there are no quests in morrowind when converted apperently.

I guess at some point down the line they are trying to add it in as a addon to oblivion and not just override it?
