After a successful trip to the merchant mud crab, lots of 24h waiting, and having a stack (6) of big soul gems, I'm off to visit an enchanter.

I've read various bits and pieces @ ign but....

Is there any way to regenerate magicka (sp?) apart from scrolls, potions, or resting - I guess what I'm really asking is whether I can enchant an item so that it constantly restores magicka. I assume not, since to enchant you need to have the spell in the first place....and by casting the spell you are going to use magicka...and you can't create something from nothing (well, not in real life anyway). Can someone confirm or suggest a way around this?

Also, I read somewhere, but can't find it now, that there is a merchant that will buy and sell at true value without any modifiers for disposition - I know the mud crab does this, but he's limited to 10k, while I read that this other merchant has 15k...it gets a bit boring having to deal, wait 24h, deal, and be constantly swapping items with the merchant in order to actually realise full value. Can anyone give me some direction on this?

btw top game, and my search through threads has brought up some good looking mods

TIA

The mud crap and scamp merchants were a stupid idea. Look for mods that change the economic system to something more 'realistic'.

Creeper buys at face value, but only trades armour, weapons and potions (and magic items I think). His wealth cap is $5000 though. But fixing that with the editor is pretty easy - I've set him to $500,000. He's the scamp upstairs in the orc-inhabited manor near the south gate in Caldera - I can't remember the name of it.

You know the swap trick, right? Buy stuff off them first, because that gold gets added to their store - but don't close the window. Then you can get a higher value for what you have. But make the change with the editor for preference.

In answer to the original question, AFAIK know, no, you can't. For one thing it would make the sign of the Atranoch ridiculously overpowered as you'd remove the handicap.
