Morrowind then Oblivion?

Should i buy oblivion as soon as its out or finish morrowind first?

Sadly i never got very far in morrowind and kept restarting for various reasons, i want to play it again but i need some of those minor graphics mods like better heads etc.

What are the recommended mods that improve graphics and game play but don't drastically effect the game?

I installed it and its running very well on max, a few things i need though are some good game enhancing mods, also would like to use a higher resolution if its possible?

Yeah i won't bother with a companion now, im still just looking for the most common and best game enhancing mods that don't effect game play too much, i've not even started playing yet.

I got my game sorted now and was playing all last night.

My mod list has been kept small and there's no serious game changes only improvements, i recommend these as standard, i may add more in the future but atm i don't want to mess the game up.

Real signposts
Ring texture fix
All the official mods
Magicka regen amulet
Passive healthy wildlife

Im thinking of buying the goty edition as i don't have the expansions, its only £9.99, maybe a silly question but is it still worth it?

While i will likely get oblivion i don't think its a good idea to get games as soon as they're out, i've learned from poor and buggy games in the past, im not saying oblivion will be but im happy to wait for a bit.

I had forgot how much morrowind crashed, is it like that for everyone?

I'm sorry, but that must make Atranoch massively overpowered. Lord knows it's powerful enough already.

Not sure what your referring to but its quite a fair regeneration of magicka, in other words very very slow.

Cool stuff you got there Phalanx, wish i could find some better stuff, though i do have two enchanted items both with high armour ratings, they are the lords mail and a odd helmet that adds 30 personality and makes everyone like you a lot more, trouble is my guy is also wearing an enchanted robe and he looks like a bit of a freak with it all on lol.

I often use jump repeatedly to get up the big hills or just levitate as it makes trips far quicker if you know where your heading, like to get those mushrooms, just try to get up over the hill across from where you exit the mages guild and your be in the bitter coast region.

One thing i do (which i don't really class as a cheat tbh) is to set my speed to 100 because i find its way too slow at default and i have no idea how long it would take to increase, probably ages though i imagine.

To change it open the console with the key under Esc (¬) and type...

player->setspeed 100

I think you misunderstood, atm my jumping ability is just a little over average but that's with always doing it and getting better, if you approach a big hill at certain places or angles you can do lots of short quick jumps which get you up there in no time, maybe you'd class it as a bug im not sure, anyway i've played this game before and so far i've not even got to where i was before so im trying to speed up the game a bit to get to where i was.

The thing is if you know what to do this game can be quite easy to take advantage of, like atm i can make large amounts of potions and sell them off for a good price, it can take a while to get rid of them though.
