Okay I know its an old game but heard it was good ,but everytime I use a save game the mouse movement goes and stays all jerky even if I start a new game .A reinstall fixes it untill I have to use a save again .
Have downloaded the lastest patch !
Would having a quad be causing problems if so how to you turn 3 off !
Any ideas before the game goes in the bin !

Do you mean a game you have saved on the current machine, or an old game that you are bringing back from another machine? I've not tried it on a quad, but it's fine on dual-core. If you are using any sort of gaming controller then unplug it. There also used to be an issue with ATI gfx cards which I don't know if it was ever fixed. But that only made the game jerky indoors.

could try setting its affinity to just one or 2 cores, think its right click on it in the process list.
