Mortal combat X opinions

This is pretty much the first mortal combat game Ive played..and it is pretty cool I must admit, ive never been a fan of fighting games or wrestling etc.

Is there any story to it before this game? because I dont follow it haha. And it's pretty much just cinematic and you can choose to skip the fights?

And why isn't controller supported keyboard sucks for this!

Controller is supported i use an 360 pad but looking to get a fight stick for it.

The story is based on a tournament for fighters from different worlds, there's also side plots to each character an there reasons why there fighting in the tournament......original story.

As new version of MK came out the story grew an went in different directions (more depth)
