Mortal Kombat (2011)

errr.. no MK going to be the same after MK3 on SEGA.. what a game that was, nothing came close to it at the time, now though, when i played on xbox, feel wasnt the same, coulnt get back into it
 
Ok HONESTLY.........who has or IS buying Freddy DLC???

I have, and honestly the guy is brilliant. Now I was going to buy him regardless of the bad vibe he has been getting from most people, regarding the fact that they don't think he should be in the MK universe blah, blah, blah........ITS FREDDY KRUEGER FOR GOD SAKE!!! The nightmare king!!

His fatalities are cool and his grab move (shhhhh lmao) makes me laugh all the time, and to be honest he is quite a good fighter, looks to me he might even be a middle to high tier character.

So what's your opinions on this new DLC are you buying it? Did you buy it and were surprised or disappointed??
 
I think the last DLC spot could've been used for somebody more useful like Tanya, Fujin or Havik from the actual MK universe but just because he's not from the MK universe isn't going to stop me playing him. Truth be told they could release Daffy Duck as a DLC character and I would probably still get him, I would just feel as if I was missing out if I couldn't play as a character that was available to use. I'm weird like that, if there's content out for a game I love I have to have it all. Capcom made an enormous amount of money off me on costume packs for SSFIV too =(
 
Freddy's amazing, infact he's so amazing he's very likely to get a nerf soon. Not a lot of holes in his game. He has very good zoning abilities, BnB combos are very easy and do solid damage. He also builds meter EXTREMELY quickly with that teleport of his which doesn't have a lot of recovery time might I add, he also has great mix ups. I won't be using him but I'm looking forward to playing somebody who uses him well. I have a few characters in my head who I feel may do well against him.

got it yesterday, has a really bad lag issue which makes online gaming crap... luckily i got umk3 on its own a while back...

an example of its ''slowness''

 
I'm reviving an old thread rather than starting a new one but does anyone know if you buy the Mortal Komat Komplete you get the DLC on the disk or you get a code to download the extra things?

I've got it on the PS and that's on disc dlc, I have heard that the 360 version is also on disc dlc mate.
 
I'm kinda late to the party, just got a 12gb ps3...

Anyway I got this game the komplete edition, does anyone here still play and would like to play?
