For some unforgiving reason Mortal Kombat hasn't been avaliable to PC for many years (to my knowledge) and I think it is fair to say that this game needs a spot to shine. I don't think PC gamers should be shuved to the side for this one as I have recently seen a lot of gameplay from there latest release and my God I want to play this game. :D

If somebody could enlighten me if there is a real legitimate reason for its absence that'd be great.

Would be ineterested to know this also. Hopefully the Street Fighter games sell well and WB decide it's worth making a PC version.

Probably because people will moan it's a poor console port, and consoles are killing PC gaming.

;)

I do think a game of this pedigree though needs to be on as many platforms as possible though.

yet many of the motions, combos are exactly the same.....clever

You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Anyone can mash out special moves but the spacing of the combo hits is much, MUCH tighter, meaning your execution has to be 100% to land 1 frame links. 1 frame link = 1/60th of a second, meaning you have to time your button press to coincide with a specific frame inside the 60frames per second that the game runs at. Try landing that consistently along with perfecting FADC's and option selects and you'll see that SF4 is a far more difficult, much more in depth and far more technically demanding game than the latest MK. Also, the combo's are NOT the same. Hows that for clever?

P.S I'm not saying MK is easy, I'm just saying SF4 is much harder.

buy a console?
it is not a worthwhile investment to be an elitist anymore.

Depends on your definition of worthwhile. PC owners are hardly elitist just because we won't buy every POS game thrown to us with overpriced DLC attached to it like the vast majority of console owners. That's the kind of nonsense that has us in the sad state of affairs we currently find ourselves in. We expect more for our money, and so should console owners.

Your comment is like saying why go to a fancy restaurant when you can eat junk food and feel just as full. Because it's the experience that's the most important thing not the end result.

1) I clearly do know what I am talking about. Read what i was discussing with regards to his quoting. youv just thrown your dummy out of the pram and gone off into completely different things.

2) you CANT expect everything to come to everything ie. i dont expect uncharted to come onto my 360 , its on ps3 and im fine with that.
The same applies to PC users and that you cant expect everything to be ported over.
The OP has £100 burning in his wallet for that he could get a 360 and MK instead of a relatively unworthy upgrade for his pc.

you seem to be flying off the handle on completely unrelated things to this thread and actally in your defense of elitism your actually sounding like one yourself with comments like POS games,"us vs them", dlc (as if these dont exist on pc lol) .... i just dont get it.

i'd like see it on pc also as the online play with the 360 is still laggy and loads of de-syncs ;)

I'm pretty sure that has absolutely nothing to do with the fact it's on 360. The netcode is terrible from what I keep reading.
Actually, I'd expect more lag on PC if SF4 is anything to go by.

Yeah its just as bad on the ps3, also been checking various tunnel server's to see if any are hosting it but none are at the moment :(, to be far ive played SF4 on both pc and 360 and couldnt notice any lag on either port :(
just hoping that some day they release mk to the pc but i think we already know the answer to this one
