It will be easier to demonstrate your ability to pay with your own bank and there will be more goodwill, however will all the right paperwork I would expect the "odds" are as good anywhere.

You could always go through a broker who will advise you what may be best. Some brokers are fee-free and have to consider all products on the market (except direct products) (i can't remember the actual term for this).

I did mine through London and Country and they took my unusual circumstances and did all the hard work for me. They gave me a bunch of options that THEY thought was best and let me decide for myself which I wanted.

Could be worth a shot.
