Most Active FPS on PC

After missing COD 4 so much (probably the most fun I've had on a game in a while) I was considering buying it on PC but wondered what is the most active FPS and has a good social aspect

CSGO is your bet. Game shows what we are missing nowadays. Simple but good gameplay.

Hard game to master, but very rewarding when you have good days

CSGO easy. I very doubt any other FPS game on PC comes close to the player numbers.

i can do well at decent levels but i then lose concentration and do bad next round.

2 good rounds then i leave

my son is a beast on it though. he plays it often but all he plays before than was original cs.

I don't get why you have two good rounds and leave, you saying you just don't like it?

I played CS a bit, though missed the boat with it, ironically I was playing a crappy Korean CS clone, "Special Force" or "Soldier Front". A good year in on CSGO and I still need to put good hours in to perfect aim and recoil control. I have excellent map knowledge of all maps now. Though still there is tons to learn, regarding movement and nades.
I may have to face the fact at my age I will never get consisant at CSGO, well if I do I may regret it.
*Edit I have put well over a 1000 legitimate playing time in hours in. *Sigh.

It's great fun.
