Most Active FPS on PC

Battlefield 4 is that bad?

Yes and no - if you've just come off the back of playing a lot of COD4 you'll notice how terrible BF4 actually is though :S the recent update fixed a lot of things but underneath the engine lacks the low level robustness of some of the classic engines.

I don't get why you have two good rounds and leave, you saying you just don't like it?

I played CS a bit, though missed the boat with it, ironically I was playing a crappy Korean CS clone, "Special Force" or "Soldier Front". A good year in on CSGO and I still need to put good hours in to perfect aim and recoil control. I have excellent map knowledge of all maps now. Though still there is tons to learn, regarding movement and nades.
I may have to face the fact at my age I will never get consisant at CSGO, well if I do I may regret it.
*Edit I have put well over a 1000 legitimate playing time in hours in. *Sigh. :( It's great fun. :)

more to do with im getting older and i can put only put in two what i call proper rounds before either loosing concentration or just playing bad.

why i stopped playing comp style fps games and just play for fun now.

Fun? Huh!:p
Brutal truth, winning in FPS's satisfies and helps me forget what a loser I am in most other areas of my life.

BF4 for sure, got all games people mention. CSgo, takes me back when I was 10 and played 1.6 a lot with friends, nothing changed ever since!

Agree that BF4 was too soon to release, but it's great fun with couple mates, can't get bored as so many maps, modes, weapons, Machines and atmosphere is great. Before played COD4, MW2, MW3, after decided to try BF3 and never looked back.

Didn't realise PayDay 2 was that popular.

I only really play Quake Live, going back to my roots. Bought a sub and have fun setting up a FFA server.

Played Planetside 2 for 2 years but the game has turned to a big stuttery stale turd.

I picked up CS:GO and its hard when you cannot aim down the sights :(

One of the reasons I've not got into CS:GO - despite playing a lot of CS back in the day from around about beta5 (99/00 ish) through to around 2006 ish I've played too many games with ADS since and couldn't really go back.

I tried Quake Live again this weekend as I noticed it had been brought to Steam. Really hating the new loadouts change they made to FFA though :( Completely ruins it! I also noticed the public FFA instagib servers have been pulled (despite any instagib server filling up quickly whenever someone does spin one up), and instagib still has no stats associated with it which is a shame.

They just seem to be ruining Quake in my eyes! A shame, as Quake II and III are all time my favourite online FPS games pretty much.

To be more on topic, Team Fortress II is still crazy popular :) I play that a fair bit at the moment.
