Hating on a console is an easy way to justify not owning it. Not saying everyone is like that but a lot clearly are.

I didn't really like the PS3 about 6 - 8 months ago, but recently, it has gone the same in my mind as the Wii. as a "meh".

I want one, mostly for the "ohhh I dont have one" factor, and that there are the odd games now out that I want, and lots in the future on both consoles.

I decided I will ignore them both though, see what happens in a few months when the games start coming out on both more frequently, and go from there.

If you like games then as far as I can see it's 100% certain that any major console will appeal to you in some way. You wouldn't know that from these forums, seems the majority will knock something they don't own.

Indeed, I want MGS4 and FF, and kingdom hearts (among others) so at some point a PS3 will be mine

At the moment though, My 360 and PC will do for gaming, I haven't been playing many games the past week or 3 anyway, busy with other stuff

Arguments are fine, and I'd sooner see more of them than everyone getting all sensitive and running away when challenged. Needless one-line trolling and unsubstantiated points, however, are just tiresome.

PC will always be the leader in terms of Graphics IMO, but god damn you can spend a fortune trying to keep up. It's one reason I sold my desktop system and got a gaming laptop - I think that after spending two grand on it I was getting addicted to upgrading! Luckily all I could do with my lappy was add more memory and a bigger hard-drive and needless to say I did both of those within the first week of having it, erm.. and I upgraded the drive in my PS3 too - I'm gonna have to seek out professional help!

Halo 2 might be king of the console FPS, but its widely slated in the PC FPS arena, PC has much better FPS to offer than Halo 2.

far to many comments annoy me im an annoyable person

i do hate any negative comment aimed at any console

i defend consoles i like but i dont go round purposefully starting threads slating others or say things like MS sucks monkey ball, some people do...

edit : ok so maybe i did say something like that against the dreamcast

PS the DS is for kids id rather play olympics gold on my gamegear

and timesplitters is the best console FPS
