Most annoying ignorant comments

Wasnt the dual shock and the analogue one before the first pad with 2 analog controllers, and two independent vibrates, as well as the PS2 version the first one with all the buttons analogue? Surely taking an idea expanding and improving on it is a good idea, or else we'd all be driving round in model T's (i know it wasnt the first car ).
Indeed it was, and you know, I remember playing PD/Goldeneye with two N64 controlers for the two analog sticks... LMAO I must have looked a right prat.

People who say Zelda isn't an RPG make me want to punch things. ;)

The beauty of life is that we all have different opinions, is it not?

Labelling a game as poor or disappointing, even though you haven't even played it (or at least seen it running in person) winds me up.

Apparently taking other peoples negative comments and using that as some sort of proof that your right means it's OK though :p

I wonder who you could be thinking of.

It depends what the comments are exactly. If someone hasn't played it but passes judgement on something he couldn't possibly know about unless he *had* played or seen it in the flesh then fair enough. You can judge plenty of other things perfectly well though.

3) Nintendo are Kiddish.

I think they are, there is hardly any adult or M rated games on the Wii and whenever one comes along, fanboys are all 'omg see see not a kiddy console manhunt 2!!!111'

1) The Dreamcast and Saturn failed for different reasons. The Dreamcast because Sega didn't promote or back it enough and the Saturn cause it was too expensive and games like Vitua Fighter looked terrible next to the Playstations Ridge Racer.

2) The DS's touch Screen is not a gimmick but the Wii's motion sensor is.

3) Nintendo do cater mainly for the younger market

4) Everybody copies everybody to some extent and i wouldn't say Sony are more guilty of this than anyone else.

5) The XBOX was a great console but it was very American (Big), personaly it doesn't bother me.

6) Zelda is an RPG as you take on the Role of Link, hence Role Playing Game.

I think the OP needs anger management classes! :p

212.50 for a console, 212.50 for a blu-ray player! Bargain!

Halo is just a run of the mill FPS.

Sony invented analogue sticks.

The Wii is just a fad. (guilty of saying this myself but it is genuinely surprisingly good to play on)

PC gaming is dying.

PS3 is so much better than a 360, Its a more well rounded console that feels expensive!

360s break all the time because they are cheap!

My ps3 has bluray.

:p

Fixed* Haha

Nintendo are Kiddish.
This one has always annoyed me. Just ask my partner, all gaming is kiddish regardless if its console/pc. :p

People that say they are not a fanboy.

People who think adult games must be rated M are lacking a certain something. GTA is one of the most childish I know of and Pikmin is a brilliant RTS that requires good planning and tactics. Guess which one is labelled M?

You know the idiotic comments such has these for example. I'm sure you have seen many more from peoples replys on youtube videos and so on.

1) The Dreamcast and Saturn failed because they had rubbish games.

2) The DS's touch screen and the Wii's motion sensor are gimmicks.

3) Nintendo are Kiddish.

4) Sony copy of eveyone else.

5) The Xbox was to big.

6) Zelda is an RPG.

Those kind of comment for some reason make me want to punch something. :D Let me know what comments fizz you off.

Yes but 2 and 3 are actually true.

"Graphics looks like PS1 or N64"

They obliviously had no idea of what two-gens old graphics was like! A couple of months ago, I downloaded Mario Kart 64 to Wii, I was stunned how terrible the graphic is.:D

DS graphic is actually that good!

...for you

I wouldn't say the Nintendo is kidish, I'd say they stay closer to cute gaming. Nintendo if you remember is Japanese, And japanese are renowned for their love of the cute, cudley and 'kid like' concepts.

Doesn't make Nintendo for young children, I mean even their serious anime's have an element of this magic. And would you say anime where limbs are broken and torn and people die are for kids? They aren't. It's just a different culture to what western world are accustomed to

As for the gimmick comments. If this definition of gimmick is correct.

A gimmick is a unique or quirky special feature that makes something "stand out" from its contemporaries.

Then i agree :D

Another thing has just popped in my heaad which I often read off comments made by PS3 owners is this.

You only bought a Wii or 360 because you couldn't afford a PS3. (You have to admit this is very ignorant.)

I see what you mean but this would mean Duke Nukem, Sonic the Hedgehog, Tomb Raider, etc Are all RPG's too because you play the role of someone else.

For me a true RPG follows some kind of D&D style combat and has character customization and levelling and crafting etc,
