Most Brutal Games out

What in your opinion are the top most brutal games released on media today?

Me and a friend were having a discussion and would like to hear your side of things.

It dosnet have to be scary etc, just violent, sick or whatever..

Soldier of Fortune and Soldier of Fortune 2 are the most brutal games ive ever played.

Shooting someone with a shotgun in the stomach and then seeing them holding their intestines was an eye opening experiance :eek:

that Manhunter thing by Rockstar was pretty grim. Graphics were nothing special as it was essentially a PS2 port but the way you could kill people with plastic bags and stuff was quite rough.

Think Condemned is supposed to be a bit dodgy as well but I haven't played it.

manhunt isnt as violent as people say, soldier of fortune one and two were more brutal/violent than that. You dont even see it properly in manhunt, just from a camera type of view.

quake 4- when your being turned into a strogg and also u see lots of nasty stuff
prey- the children
doom3-just in general really

but some of the most scary/sick bits in the movies are in your mind not on screen. Think Reservoir Dogs with the ear or some of the bits in Saw 1 & 2. For me, it was the nature of the weapons (like the placcy bags) that did it rather than in your face chainsawing someones limbs off. Fair point though that you could say that other games are more extreme.

Soldier of fortune series for me, i can remember when i was young and we used to sit decapitating people just for fun. Funny how games make u into a psycho killer!

Yeah SOF2, i remember shooting that guys knob off in the underground when hes having a pee.

I wish they would make some more violent games. I hate shoot them ups where you kill them and you dont get rewarded. I want to shoot them and see bits and pieces. OTT kinda stuff.

Beggining level of SOF1 is in an underground substay station, you walk into this room and one of the terrorist guys is standing around peeing everywhere. you get to kill him.
