Just remember before you run out for continuous wear ones, afaik very very few people are actually able to wear them for the full month. To be fair I didn't give them much of a go, I was on focus daily torics, gotten online for around £21 a month, expensive but very comftable, i basically wear them every single day from waking to going to sleep with no issues, don't think i've worn glasses even a single time for well over a year, maybe 2, glasses got broken and never got around to getting new ones.
I tried the continuous, again also when they were brand new out so may have changed/improved, and after 6-8 hours they were very uncomftable. THe optician basically said you tend to need to get used to them, build up how long you wear them and I might get longer but almost no one they'd seen was able to simply just wear them all the time, a majority of users were(a couple years ago) still taking them out for nights but finding eyes feeling better due to more oxygen.
I might try them again though, its possible its a whole astigmatism thing that the PUrevisions were so uncomftable for me. But till now anything long term you have to wash/keep overnight I simply never find any of them as comftable as the throw aways. Pretty sure the weeklies/monthlies or the continuous wear can be sorted for £5-10 a month with ease, just the dailies cost a ridiculous amount more
Again from recollection the Purevisions felt much bigger, and looked it, sure they were wider diameter than the focus dailies and sure thats what made them feel wrong for me.
EDIT:- seems theres nothing in it diameter wise, infact the purevisions are smaller, though again could easily have changed in 2-3 years. But also keep forgetting prices for Toric stuff is so much more than non toric(astigmatism). Place i get lenses is £21 a pack of toric lenses, 15 lenses, so £42 for a month, the non torics are £13 a pack instead. Stupid astigmatism.
I really would like to get the surgery but way to worried about the downsides. Its expensive but contacts/glasses for the next decade will cost a lot more. Might get round to it in the next couple years, might chicken out, not sure yet.
