So I have 1 Asus Gtx 560 Ti 1gb playing Skyrim, Hitman type stuff on this BenQ monitor http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-080-BQ&groupid=17&catid=510

Rest of the spec:
2500k/Z68/8Gb DDR3 1600MHz/Corsair 550W PSU

Which option might you suggest.

1)Buy a new PSU and another Asus 560Ti to SLi

2)Replace the 560 all together and if so, to what? Would a see enough of a benefit from a 660 or the likes? And would my PSU be ok?

Thoughts much appreciated.

HIS 7950 Ice-Q.

Don't bother SLI'ing that card. It only had 1GB of VRAM.

How much do you have to spend on a card?

+1 for the card above, best bang for buck card today and has all the VRAM you will need for the foreseeable future.

I'm going to vote for a HIS 7950 boost card too - used it with a 550w psu (corsair VX) for just over a year - 2700K was clocked at 4.8 and the 7950 was running at 1200/1175 (with the +20% power enabled) so you dont have to worry about spending money on a psu and can put that money towards the 7950 if needed ;)

Damn - got confused with my core clock of me new card and the mem clock of my old card XD ....shut up >.> - so it was actually 1200/1425 :P

Ah so you're not as crazy as i first thought. Nice core clock though, wish i could run mine that high.

Only my first card runs at that speed - but as you can see the memory wasnt anything spectacular, and again nothing special as I've said before - I still have the boost - bios enabled, so technically I'm running the car at max volts :-/ .

As for the OP - I'd highly recommend the 7950 as an upgrade path, especially the price deals that seem to be coming up on them frequently recently.

What clocks do you run for 24/7? I could run mine higher if i could keep them cooler. Once i hit 74c at 1125 or higher i get black squares sometimes. Not sure which card it is, maybe both. The memory on both my cards seems pretty good though and can go up to 1575 no problems at stock.

You need 1,000 posts to get into the members market here so you#d have to sell them elsewhere (or did you get access before the rule change?). I think you get a code of some kind and then use it on a website to download the games... I think.
