Most demanding game with a demo?

M PC is getting on a bit and is due for replacing in a couple of years but I'm wanting to hold fire on an upgrade as long as possible. I'm wanting to get ToR but my computer is pretty close to minimum settings. Normally I wouldn't even attempt it but my computer can still absolutely mash any game with even halfway decent optimisation.

To give it a go I want to try my PC against something I don't think it can handle, but I don't want to buy a game just for that purpose, so ideally I want a single player demo, the more demanding in terms of RAM and CPU the better as those are the elements of my computer that are getting on most.

Any suggestions?

Specs are e6600 2 gig ram 4850 graphics card. It can handle Crysis reasonably well on fake very high but occasionally drops into the 20s. ToR's requirements are an order of magnitude higher so I don't expect it to fare so well. I'll give those other games a try though and cross my fingers, thanks for the input.

the crysis demo is pretty demanding, but there are a couple of features you cant have on the crysis demo that you can have on the full game graphics wise (16x AA for example). this probably wont be a problem for you though

another one to try would be www.thehunter.com
with all the graphics at full and scope optimisation off i my framerates go down to near crysis levels
