most durable iphone lighting cable

Spigens are pretty good, in fact they're all I've used since it was unboxed. The stock cables are as you say utter tosh.

Got about 2 years out of the last one.

The best way to deal with this is to buy one of the Apple micro USB to lightning adapters. That way, when you break it, all you need to get is another micro USB cable and swap the adapter.

Incidentally, treat these cables properly and they don't break. Don't pull them from the wire, grab the actual connector and they're fine. In all the years I've had Apple products, I've never broken one cable, be it dock or lightning.

I got one of the adapters for my autistic son because he kept breaking cables. He still breaks them (doesn't understand about unplugging by grabbing the connector) but now I just sigh and grab another micro USB cable from the drawer.

I've found that the Belkin one I bought has lasted well eing in the car (stuffed in a glovebox/pulled around/removed to plug in at work etc

Amazon basics! they are fantastic, so good in fact, that i have about 5 of them now and they are all as good as new. Can't recommend them more.

I've never broke any Apple cables either. I have a nice Anker braided cable, it's also longer than the stock cable.

Ive broken 2 Apple cables, but I have an Anker one that works great. I've found the apple one too just be too soft and bends from even the smallest amount of pressure. Brought a single Anker cable that is my travel cable and it goes through hell and is perfect, my Apple cable is literally sitting in the same plug and never moves but a bit of pulling has made it almost useless.
