Most expensive car you've been in?

Well, I've sat in an Enzo FXX, but it wasn't moving or even fully built :p

Probably a Ford GT on public roads. Obscenely quick but utterly devoid of character or occasion. Felt like a big Mondeo.

edit: No, the GT was a *****, cheap car wasn't it? 430 Spider, I expect. Utterly brilliant.

Oh, not cars, but I've also sat in a Spitfire and a Hurricane :cool:

dunno tbh, been in nearly everything you can think of, most memorable for me whilst far from the most expensive was a 993 turbo (in 1993 :p) that car was just prolific, no other word summed it up better for me
 
Actually, this thread will now read like an epenis advert for me, but the Murciélago would have been more than the 430 was new. The reactions you get in a Murciélago are like driving about in <a certain, well known, Sex Pistols record> in 1977. You know, if you could drive a record.

I went to look at a bmw 750L with every option was something silly like 70k new and up for 5k lol

most exspensive car I have driven would be my current M3 at 40k+ new

I thought I may get away with it as it's a proper title, but I shall heed your advice ;).
 
As a passenger - '69 Dodge Charger Daytona. The one I rode in was sold a few months ago for $280k (over £150k).

As a driver - '70 Dodge Challenger R/T, saw a similar example go for $150k (about £81k).
 
Can we stick to value at time of sitting in it or everyone can just post that *****-prestige E32 or whatever they once sat on the bonnet of beside the road with a £400 ONO sticker on it becuase once upon a time it was £50k :p

Otherwise I could post my Mondeo is a £20k car and thats just daft.

575 marenello as a passenger. guy at work had one, posted on the internal newsgroups saying it looked gorgeous, he called one of the managers, found out it was my birthday, and called me asking if I wanted a ride... went for a 1 hour blast, absolute bliss. engineering perfection...

Not sure how much formula fords are worth, but driven one of those also, road car wise... erm prolly an S2000 that I had for a day (brand new)
 
Eddie Irvine's F1 car (from the previous year) when it was on display at our local car dealer... 'twas a good few years ago though :D
