Most expensive GFX card

...........It's the most expensive GFX card I have ever seen. I didn't know GFX cards, even really high end Pro ones, could cost this much ;

Competitors? At that price!! The most expensive card OcUK have is something that looks like a lesser generation
of the card I linked to. But it looks cheap by comparison with a price just shy of £600.

It is a lesser generation. The one on OcUK is based on an 8800GT, that other one is basically a GTX280 with 4GB of RAM.

Intergraph used to charge 10-12k for their top end PCI workstation cards and at the time they were the best things for playing Quake. Of course the 64k leased line in the office was 6k a year as well, but it did give the edge over dial up

Huh? Its the whole site thats a competitor . . . .

But anyway, wouldnt be much good for gaming tbh. Optimised for CAD etc.

this card is the real deal, im going to raid 4 together for 16gigaflops! these things bring with them a hefy electric bill!
