I was talking with my friend last night about games we've spent most of our lives playing and it turned into quite a thought provoking conversation about the nature of video games and how they help forget about the chore of the 9-5 routine.

I can remember playing WoW before WoTLK came out for atleast 2 years and managed to clock up 127 days worth of playtime...

Oddly, I've spent just under a week playing Binding of Isaac!

Ghost Recon Online is likely to beat those however with 56 days played so far and no sign of loosing it's novelty. Yeah it reeks of **** as far as the microtransactions are concerned, but it's still largely skill based and I love the way it encourages team play.

I remember on WoW around the time BC was in beta I changed my sleeping pattern... I was playing on the American servers at the time and too sync up with there time I used to come bakc from school at 16:00, sleep until midnight - 1ish, then get up, raid like a boss and then man school. Did this for a good 2 months... Crazy now I think about it.
