dead OCZ Reaper pc 8500 stick

build my new pc after the last one was nicked yesterday , the rig was made up of a evga 680i , the reaper ram e6600 amoung other tower parts. eveythign was fine at stock and a mild oc to 3ghz - Orthos stable over 12hours overnight .Pushed it to 3.2ghz this morning (ram is running at 356mhz well below stock) was fine for abour 4 hours on orthos while iwas downloading wow and other files (as this was a freshly built rig) it restarted , i though oh ok clock it down to 3ghz again and retest ok for a couple of hour restarted again at this point i knew somthing was up put it to stock , same again but only after a few mins . tryed 3ghz again got BSOD after about 3mins into windows desktop this happened about twice then the pc rebooted to nothing.

did i full power down (cables out and press on the power button, little trick i lernt from my DFI NF4 SLI DR days) and rebooted again.Over the next few restarts i would lock up just after cpu speed was read (but before ram and drives show) on the bios during the Ram stage or a single fashing underscore in the top right after the frist bios boot up page but before the 2nd page (ie were u can then F8 to safe mode etc)

At that stage i took the tower out to have alook seemed all fine, removed 1 stick PC booted fine abit of orthos and installing programs it was fine i then shut down and replace the sticks , again the pc would not boot at all with no sounds other than the fans at full or if i was luckly a C1 error (led error display on the motherboad) which is for memory presence ie the board wasn't seeing the ram at all to try and boot.

so i now making this post with a single stick of ram abit annoyed that i can't game much after being without a rig for over a month(Supreame commander on a large map with 1gb of ram is not nice) .

Anything your guys recomend i do before i ring OCUK for a quick RMA ?, i presume i would have to send both sticks back (so without a gaming pc again) or do you think they send out new sticks if they "held" the amount the sticks cost in my bank account so they could send me out new sticks and i could send the old set (with the dead stick) when i get the new ones , they test them faulty i get the money that they held unheled , if that makes anysence at all ? not even had chance to install word yet so sorry if the grammer and spelling sucks abit

EDIT l ran memtest on the other "working" stick as i was egtting some ramdom program crashs still and im got erros about 5hours in look like RMA time
