It's just Point Break with cars, I'm not even sure Point Break was original either.

Dark City was in production at the same time as The Matrix, so that's irrelevant. It's more likely that they share influences. Thirteenth Floor is crap. I've not seen Lawnmower Man so can't comment on that one...
A film made 53 years later probably doesn't affect the originality of the prior film. Same would apply to the remake of Rear Window too I guess. Unless you were just helping to point out an unoriginal film.

i agree Cube was good and for me at least original, however they spoiled it with Cube 2 and HyperCube!
