Most powerful AGP graphic card?

hi guys

my currently spec is -

P4 2.4'c'GHZ 800mhz
Abit IC7
Geil Ultra 512mb DDR(2x256mb dual channel kit)
Nvidia 6800GT 256mb AGP
74GB Raptor

the new games starting to feel slow, my laptop is even faster in games than the PC, wondered which AGP card would be best to get? or upgrade the whole PC?

7800GS+ but i suspect youd be CPU limited.

7600GT probably is the better value

I have a 7600GT and it overclocks fantastic even with the stock cooler. I have a PCI slot fan output just below it that for €8 and its crappy look works wonders in removing the heat straight out from the gfx card.

I am running 615/1532 stable at the moment but at a push it can reach 635/1560 and I'm hoping to take it further when I get it into the new Titan case with much better air cooling.

For the price it just can't be beaten.

Seconded, 7900 GS+ on AGP is not worth it now as its about £230+, you could get a much faster PCI-E card AND a new motherboard for the same price or less, so id agree with the above and go for upgrading the whole pc as said, that CPU would be a real bottleneck, and also you need more Ram, at least 2gb these days.
