Hi, i would like to ask opinion in what is the most powerfull psu for pc, i have a corsair hx1200 and is not enough, as have loads of rgb lights and 2 gpu plugged in
theres alternative to EVGA g1 2000W or is the best available ?

I apreciate the help on this
Thanks

i have a dark hero mb with a 5950x overcloked to 4.7, ram is trident gskill overcloked to xmp mode, gpu is a strix 3090 OC overcloked too (plgged to a samsung G9 at 240hz) , a secondary gpu ( where 3 screens are plugged in) is a phoenix rtx 3060, and there is 6 or 7 commander pro connected ( case is a 1000D) with loads of fans , plus there is 2 ewkb water pumps connected in too .

To be honest, get a physical monitor and just take a look at what it draws at load. I’ve got an overlocked CPU although intel, pumps lights and a 3090 with a 1200w PSU and I don’t think it’s ever pulled more than 700\800 watts at the wall. If you just want a new one I guess go for it. What symptoms do you have?

How have you connected that many commanders? I thought they ran off internal USB headers. Honestly the cheapest solution here is to get a power meter for the socket and see what it’s drawing at the wall. For a 1200w psu if it draws more than 1000w at load it might be the PSU, otherwise it might just be too many USB devices, I have had problems with that before.

i had plugged 2 nzxt internal usb and all the commaders pro on it, plus have connected 6 or 7 LS100 devices , 3 or 4 node core lights too ...
basically the psu is completly full plugged, im suspecting the psu cant hanndle all , thats i m looking for something more powerfulll, i feel a bit worried by buying the corsair 1600i when by around the same price i can get the evga with 2000w my question is if theres anything better or should i stay with evga

Fair enough, so check list for a big PSU…

Should be “gold” at least
Should be modular
Length of warranty

Final note, the PSU is about the capacity and the efficiency, just because you don’t have enough free cables would mean, you are the 1% who needs more cables than are commercially available.
