Which software tool is the most reliable for reporting voltages and temperatures.

I'm running an intel E6750 on an aBit IP35 motherboard.

I've tried abitEQ, Everest and SpeedFan and where they report on common items they come up with different answers.

Also SpeedFan is confusing me.

For CPU Temps, it reports on Core, Core1 and Core2.

Typically I get 62, 37, 37 for these.

Why is Core being reported so much higher. And from what I've read if anything you would expect Core1 and Core2 to report higher than Core.

Thanks for the help,

Nigel

I use cpu id hardware monitor. Cpu Z does core voltage well, otherwise I tend to trust the bios.

Disagreeing on processor temperatures generally means theyre set up to use a different value of *damned if I can remember it*. It's a number used to calibrate the reading from the chip, tends to be 90 to 105 or so and varies with chip family

Everest is probably the best of those
