English and Spanish Dominating in both of these.

These lists are always dumb, isn't Eto'o on silly money at that russian club, why is he nowhere to be seen?

This and isn't Yaya Toure meant to be on ~£200,000 a week before tax. I'm pretty sure that'll be a little bit more than what Terry is on.

3. Barcelona - $1,307bn (£1.07bn)
4. Arsenal - $1,292bn (£800m)

This makes no sense, Barca arse worth only $0.15bn more than Arsenal yet they are allegedly worth £0.27bn more?

Think they've cocked up Barca's conversion, should be more like £810m not £1.07bn

That list must be wrong as I was reading something just last week proclaiming Messi as the highest earner in football followed by C.Ronaldo followed by Beckham.

Not that I know any accurate information all I know is Eto'o should definitely be there as well his Footballing salary alone would put him in the top 5

Second list is probably complete and utter bull because it's nothing more then guess work.

First list, is probably questionable at best too :p

The second list is definitely retarded. It says salaries, then includes personal sponsorship for some and not others, etc... whilst ignoring tax and probably guessing the base salaries, anyway!

guess the list should be dominated by rangers players then :p

for right or wrong Club list is initially from Forbes magazine, which is a well thought of business mag in the states

(Barca amounts do look wrong though admittedly, $ is probably correct and £ conversion/ currency exchange is wrong)

edit - doesnt really mean much apart from that the $ has got weaker , Im not sure the actual value of said clubs has changed that much

It's impossible to work out the value of a club until its sold and paid for. For that reason the first list means nothing, pointless.

Interesting income these fellas are on.

I was going to mention something about how so many people in the world die every day as a direct result of poverty/starvation/thirst but I guess it'll fall on deaf ears in here.

I have stopped watching football completely (well, all sport for that matter) as I cannot justify it to myself anymore.

You could watch it in the lower leagues where the incomes are more standard and the footie is still exciting.

Can't tell me the Premiership winner's fans "enjoy" winning more than those of Division 3?
