MOT and tyre size

One that fits properly?!

If you're talking about tread left on the tyres then it's 1.6mm like every other car :)

No, when i was reading up about the MOT test it says one check is that the tyres are the right size for the car.

This is because i have none standard alloys in it ;)

As long as the tyres on the front are a pair EG 195/50/15 and the rear are also a pair EG 205/40/15 it doesnt matter .you are not allowed to miss-match tyres on the same axle. say you have one tyre on the front at 195/50/15 and the other one was a 185/55/15 it would fail an mot test.

Actually, they are...but the police may pull you over at a later point for conditions of use violation ;)

Anyway, technically the tread of the tyre must be covered by the arch at it's apex...

So buy some 13x7 rims and rock out with 175/50 Yokos.

Well mine dont stick out fully but iff you look from the back of the car at the front wheels the bit of the tyre you see first is not quite covered at the bottom its hard to explain.

For example:

Would this pass an MOT on this reason, and no this is not my car :P

As I can't see the Apex of the arch, I can't answer your question, however it looks suspect from that angle !
