Hi,
MOT failed on quite a few things today (most are minor) but two things that still need addressing are:
"Nearside rear road wheel bead rim badly distorted"
"Nearside rear wheel bearing has excessive play"
Now I know I should've asked what exactly that means at the time and how much it costs etc. but I didn't want to be taken for a mug by the testers and its closed now so was wondering if any of you had an idea of cost?
Did a bit of phoning around and it seems that not many places can 'fix' distorted rims?
What would be the cheapest way of addressing this issue? Must I buy new alloys?
Secondly, the wheel bearing problem.. does this mean the bearings have gone and I need to replace it.. or does it just mean the wheel needs tightening on securely?
