Mot failed

Hello all. Just asking for peoples opinions. My fiesta has failed on 'Offside Front wheel bearing rough when rotated' [2.5.A.2].

When I questioned the examiner, he said 'theres no play in it, just sounds rough when under the car. The MOT station is ATS, and I feel this was the mistake in the first place. Theres no play in the wheel up or down, the wheel rolls freely enough and theres no noise from the wheel at motorway speeds. The Car has only covered 63,000 miles.

Now do I get the repair done (elsewhere, not paying their prices) or chance it with another MOT station?

Have you jacked the car up yourself and spun the wheel?

Yes, and I can't hear or feel anything on one side that isn't on the other

a bearing does not have to have play in it to be worn and you wont necessarily hear a rough bearing when driving also

The problem I have is, this seems to be such a subjective fail. I cannot see or hear or feel anything out of the ordinary on that bearing. If it were a clear cut problem then I wouldn't hesitate to get it sorted, but this comes across as clutching at straws.
