Got my fine through from the court, £60 fine £43 costs... It doesn't say its endorsable, and if I go onto car insurance websites, tick the box which says "I have been convicted of a driving offence" on the next page it shows every single driving offence in existence, but I cannot find the no MOT one.. also there is no code associated with it, all the other offences have like "CD10" or something next to them, I don't have any code for mine,,, does this mean I put it down in insurance quotes, or do I just forget it... Now they've got my money it all seems to become a bit vague

thanks guys,

So by that I imagine that it doesn't actually class as a conviction? just need to know for work purposes..... I havn't had any paperwork saying ive been convicted or anything,, just a sheet with a fine on..

There isn't a code for MOT iirc, just a fine, which you don't have to tell your insurer about
unless I'm mistaken then you only need to inform your insurer about endorsable offences or bans.
if its something that just carries a fine then pay it and forget about it.
