Mot question (need side light?)

Hi guys

Put twin lights on my 600 bandit and now dont have a side light. Do you need a side light to pass an Mot in Northern Ireland

You dont need them but if theres a switch for them then you can be failed.

If theres no sidelight switch youll be fine

Where abouts in NI matey?

Im from Lurgan mate.

There is a switch for them. But what happens if I just cover the switch so it just looks blank at that part. Sos no symbol for it

At my last MOT my sidelight bulb was blown but it passed. If you go in with your lights on they may well not notice (if they even look for it). Bike MOT's tend to be pretty slack from my experiences.
