MOT Question..

My front fog light is broken and I've an MOT in a few days.. I want to order a replacement from an on-line breaker because new they are about £80 but it won't arrive in time.

Will this fail the MOT?

As long as its not wired to come on with the sidelights or something stupid.

I'm pretty sure you'd just get an advisory (i.e. advising you to get it fixed) because fog lights aren't a requirement if you think about it, given that some cars don't even have them.

Your headlights would be a different matter I think...
