My E90 BM has a couple of sensor issues in that the tyre pressure insists that ai am running dangerously as it is bright red even though the tyres are brand new and the correct pressure.I am unable to.clear down through the console as it just returns.

Secondly the DPF warning light comes on again can't clear down car only just been in for dean of the dpf and new plugs.

So question is for the purpose of the test. Ae these things I need to get fixed before test or are not looked at
Thanks

Any warnings lights on the dash that don't go out after the initial start up test are a fail IIRC, they cannot remove anything for example tape covering these warnings lights though and therefore cannot test them. If you want to wait to get them fixed.

In that article it does say.

Not sure if E90s went to 2012 though.

Vehicles first used on or after 1 January 2012 will be checked to make sure the tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) MIL is working

Huh good spot, didn't see that. Would be a rare E90 if it was 2012

Well its not rare its a 60 plate so reading into the above comments it would seem they wont look at the dashboard notifications as they are not part of the test
