Guys - probably my mess up.
I was under the impression that I could get a vehicle through it's MOT a month before it is due and then that is appended to the expiry date.
So my MOT history is as follows:
Due April 18th 2014, had test done March 25th 2014
Due April 18th 2015, had test done March 24th 2015
Due April 18th 2016, had test done March 18th 2016
Now my MOT is listed as expiring on March 17th 2017
So I took my car in for an MOT one calendar month early last year but it has set the expiry 12 months later, not 13. Is it in fact "30 days" rather than "a month"?
