Last night, as I live on a main road, I closed the window before going to sleep...

The moth appears to be gone, but now I have a really sore throat...
Is my PC going to be OK?
 
Your PC will be okay but you won't, the moth has entered into your body via your mouth. Once inside your mouth the moth travelled to the back of your throat and tunnelled through the soft tissue there. As we speak the moth is currently making it's way to the centre of your brain where it will extend it's legs and antennae outwards to control your brain and take over your body.

You need one of those cold cathode + 2x 120mm fan above a shoe box setups.

Quite a few of us on here had them, takes care of moths / midges in the summer months :D

Makes one hell of a mess on the fans & shoebox, but it's worth it. Beats moths banging into your face from the reflection of the screen
 
i've had loads go in my pc. had one get sucked into the psu.. didn't kill anything.

i eat them professionally too. i am the moth catcher. hear me roar
 
I watched an episode of casualty once where a woman was admitted with a loud noise in her ear.....turned out a moth had crawled in there awhile she was asleep and got stuck!!!! :o

I've never been able to sleep in a room with one since.
