Motherboard and CPU for less than £300

My friend wants to buy a motherboard and CPU that are less than £300... What do you guys recommend he gets? His motherboard or cpu stopped working...

He already has
- 2 8GB dd3 ram
- SSD
- ALL cables are SATA 3
- Nvidia GTX 760
- 750 watt PSU


He would like any size motherboard, he still hasn't bought a case. Cheaper for better performance i'd imagine

This PC will be used primarily for Flight simulators

What case does he have/what form factor board can he fit in it?

Are all his drives SATA?

Yeah it will.

Luckily the bundle comes with a stock intel heatsink as I don't think an Antec 300 has the best clearance in the world for an aftermarket cooler.
