Hi,
I recently got a ex-business Acer PC and was going to upgrade it to a gaming system to last me to the next proper system rebuild using bits from my old gaming system and a new GFX card. The main problem is the RAM, I have 2x Corsair CMX512-3200C2PT sticks of RAM but as they are oldish (ver1.1) they report at below DDR400 speeds (2700 I think). When put in to the Acer they run a 100MHz and in single channel due to the motherboard (gigabyte K8A482M) being on "auto" in the RAM settings. Now the only options in the BIOS are auto, T1 or T2. Apart from a BIOS update (which I cant find as the motherboard is not listed on Gigabytes webpage) has anyone got any ideas? Will the RAM run at T1??
Cheers
