Motherboard and PSU dead..

My Brothers system went black last night, today we have worked out both motherboard and psu are dead.

How do you work out what killed what, and can you warranty claim for both?
there is no visible damage that i can see

Motherboard: AsRock B450m Steal legend, 6 ish months old could be less
PSU: Corsair RM750 (yellow label), 3 year ish old

I'd vote for PSU killing MoBo, though there are naysayers on here that will likely claim this is impossible (it's not, a PSU failure really can blow everything else up)!!!!

Agree about PSU being more likely culprit, unless it was just random simultaneous failure of both:
All properly designed and working PSUs have protections, which shutdown it if there's overload etc.
