Motherboard audio problem

Hi,

I purchased a Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 motherboard the other week. I've installed it into my new built computer but when i put my speaker system into the audio output of my motherboard the audio keeps on cutting out nearly every 10 seconds.

My drivers are updated and has been updated to the newest BIOS firmware F18.

Can't figure out the problem.
