Hi Guys

My PC has started beeping at me through my default audio device, it is continuous short beeps which my motherboard manual says is a power issue. The PC is working fine apart from the annoying beeps :) it is a Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD4P

My CPU was overclocked as in my sig, a i7 920 running at 3.8 so I reset my Bios to default and the beeping went away for a short while but now it keeps coming back intermittently.

About 3-4 weeks ago my 1 stick of my RAM failed it was triple channel so I replaced the lot.

I have just replaced my GFX card with a MSI 6970 as well so I took that out and put my XFX 4870 back in but it still beeps intermittently

I think it is a mobo issue but not 100% sure, what do you guys think?

I don't have a spare mobo or PSU to try and to be honest if it is the mobo I may as well get a new one and CPU.

Cheers

PSU is more than enough for your current setup assuming it's not dying. If the motherboard manual points to a power issue then ideally you need to get your hands on another PSU to test with. Sorry not much help but I can't really see another way around it.

Thanks mate, I am trying to decide whether to just try and resolve this or buy a new PSU, mobo and CPU, I have upgrade my RAM, GFX card and got an SSD over the last month so might as well get the rest :)
