Motherboard bottlenecking CPU upgrade?

Hey guys, i'm currently running:

MSI K8 Neo Platinum NF4 mobo
XP 64 3500+ Chip w/ Arctice Freezer 64
485W Enermax Noisetaker ATX 2.0 PSU
ATI X850 XT 256MB card
Akasa Eclipse Case w/ silent 120mm front & back

I'm basically wondering if i can step right up to an X2 4800 w/ thermaltake big typhoon, or will i encounter some problems, i've seena few biost flashes for this board to enable me to use X2 chips, but i wasn't sure if a 4800 X2 would be too much for my current spec?

Nope your mobo will take the X2 chip perfectly, just make sure you have the latest BIOS flashed before you pop it in. I see no reason why ** Freezer 64 can't handle it though.

Thanks mate, made a post in general hardware too as i wasn't 100% sure this was the right place for it

I agree that the arctic could prob handle it fine, but i'm just trying to cut noise, and i hear the TT typhoon also cuts temps nicely!
