Hi,

My 7 year old custom built Q6600 PC has just died and looking at replacing the components with :

MSI Z97 Gaming 3 Intel LGA1150 Z97 ATX Motherboard (4x DDR3, 6x USB3.0, 6x USB2.0, GBE, LAN, HDMI, DVI, DP, VGA)

Corsair CMZ16GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 Mhz CL9 XMP Performance Desktop Memory Kit Black

Intel i7 4790K Quad Core Processor (4.00GHz, 8MB, 88W, Socket 1150)

I already have a Samsung 840 SSD, Corsair 520w PSU, BluRay drive and Midi ATX Case.

Anything i should alter?

Many Thanks.

Will use my old Corsair 550w PSU if its still working. System will be used for running multiple VM's and not used for gaming and may overclock sometime in the future. Just want it to last for some years. Got 7 years out of my q6600 :-)
