Motherboard + Case Question URGENT

if you look at the back of the case you will see several slots near the bottom, some with bits of graphics cards poking out of them. if theres 4 of them or more then a mATX board will fit. i am 99% sure a mATX board will fit in there because it looks very much like a case a friend of mine had and it has a mATX board

however, if you are planning on a motherboard + processor upgrade i highly recommend you go for an i3 2100 + H67 motherboard (or H61 if you cant afford the H67) as it will be quite a bit better, especially in tasks that arent good at using 4 cores like gaming. it will also allow you to upgrade to the i5 2500k or the i7 2600k (both of which knock the phenom II X6 1100T into the middle of next week)

fantastic, i;d be very surprised if a mATX board doesnt fit then

just out of interest, what upgrade were you planning on doing, and what bits were you planning on keeping?

well im getting my hands on a Phenom X4 940 Black Edition next week but struggling to find a motherboard........it needs to support DDR2 Ram and be quite cheap

Can't you just sell the DDR2 ram and buy some DDR3 ones? They're really cheap now these days.

ive got 4gb DDR2 RAM thats all i want/need.

i just need to find a motherboard for the 940be and im really struggling to be fair
