Hello. As title says I think my motherboard has finally crumbled. Its an msi z77a gd55.
My question is shall I just get another z77 board cheaply, as they don't seem to sell them anywhere anymore, or sell my 3570k + old 7970gpu and put the proceeds towards a new board with socket 1150 or 2011?

I guess Il get 100 a piece for the cpu and gpu. It would also cost about 100 to replace the broken board so that may be money better spent getting half way to a better one.

Worth?

Thanks. Iv already got my new gpu its just the motherboard that's faulty.
Yea I was very happy with it but I don't like buying old stuff it feels like a crossroad where I could just sell my old gear and step up or stick with the older z77. By selling the old cpu and gpu it might cost around 200 to upgrade but 80 to stay put.

Got a lend of a mates old motherboard everything working fine again. Il probably offer him something to buy it since I won't see much gain from a 3570k @ 4.6..
