Hi guys

I've just taken my pc to a local repair center as i was not getting any signal to my monitor, after some test i have been told the my motherboard needs to be replaced and although i have a greater than average understanding of computers i'm a bit stuck on what motherboard to get, i have a ACER PREDATOR G3620 and im stuck on which motherboard would be better ( been reconmended ) 1: Asus P9X79 Intel X79 (Socket 2011) DDR3 & 2: Asus Z87 DELUXE Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX, any advice would be much appreciated even if you would reconmend a better one my budget is £250 and prefurably asus

Thanks Adam

Ok, looking at the specs on the web your system uses socket 1155* cpu which is either Ivy Bridge or Sandy Bridge which means the 2 motherboards you looked at above are not compatible.

A few options below:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Asus Z77 Maximus V Extreme Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £259.99
1 x MSI Z77 MPower Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 ATX Motherboard with FREE F1 RC Car £149.99
1 x Gigabyte Z77X-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £112.99
Total : £534.37 (includes shipping : £9.50).

* Can you confirm which CPU you have got :)

In that case go with the cheaper Gigabyte board above - hopefully your case can take the standard ATX sized boards.
