Motherboard - error

Hi there, i have the asus p5wd2-e premium motherboard, with sata2 200gig hdd, 1 gig of ddr2 ram, and graphics card. - im getting the following beep pattern " long beep " "short beep" "short beep" "short beep" . im an very uncertain as to what it is, nothing displays on screen!

Memory? Check that all the RAM is seated correctly.

Is it possible that it could be that its not DDR2 ? , and if it were just DDR - would it matter + how would i tell the difference between the 2 ?

Well...DDR wouldn't fit in DDR2 slots, which is usually a pretty good indicator.

Sounds like your graphics card is borked. Do you have another one to try?
