I've just treated myself to some new PC components
MSI X670E Gaming Plus motherboard
AMD Ryzen 9900X CPU
64GB Corsaid Vengeance (2x32GB) DDR5 DRAM 6000MT/s CL30
1 x 1TB WD SN850X
2 x 4TB WD SN850X
I was just about to start building it and came across several reports that this motherboard and the NVMEs don't play nicely together. There seems to be lots of reports of people saying that the drives aren't detected in the BIOS.
Rather than take the risk I'm just going to return the motherboard and get a different brand. What would you recommend? My requirements are at least 3 Gen 4 NVME slots, lots of USB A plus a couple of USB C too. Not bothered about overclocking and I don't game. I'm more bothered about fast access to my drives so I want a board that allows full speed access and doesn't gimp them in any way. I'd also prefer a Realtek network card as Intel seem to cause me no end of problems.
