Motherboard for GPU

Hi guys I tried upgrading a HP machine by adding in a GT720 for three outputs however the Motherboard isn't compatible for that card.

Would this motherboard work ?

What was wrong with the GT520 you had working with three screens in the previous thread?

Well not sure how as it's not my pc however the BIOS forgot it's config so I had to reenable the Intel graphics in bios whether the CMOS battery is flat / dead. I'm not sure.

It is a 5 year old PC after all.

If the battery is dying it usually forgets date+time and such also.

So I use, HDMI to HDMI, DVI to DVI. Then as the 6450 flex has two dvi-d's can I use the DVI to VGA adapter that comes with the cards?

If they are DVI-D then an VGA adapter wont work as they dont carry the extra analog signalling like a DVI-I does.

300W PSU should be enough? It's not used for gaming it's literally just for browsing and work really.

I still want to know why the GT520 stopped, as you must have been using ok for a few days and it wasn't an immediate failure.

Well apparently the user reports the GT520 screens stay on but 5 times a day the middle screen (the one from the motherboard) just turns off and he has to reboot his machine to get them up and running again which understandably must be soooo annoying.
