Motherboard for the E6600

lol pretty colors.

As in Overclockability?

If your running the E6600 at stock speed does it matter what kind of motherboard you have or will it affect it a little?

Thanks

Right now the motherboards with the 680i chipsets are getting the highest overclocks....

And if you aren't going to overclock then yes there will be performance differences...but VERY slight. In games I'm talking .1-2 fps. Nothing you could detect.

If your on a budget the DS3 is the board for you, good overclocking features. I think its the DQ4 which allows a 1333FSB, same as my DQ6 :).

Yeah I have read that the DS4 allows a 1333FSB with a BIOS update, I have also heard that it supports crossfire with a BIOS update, but with the 2nd lane at 4x PCI-E...so doesn't support th DX10 cards that need 2 x16 PCI-E lanes.. :)
